Wifey blogs - OSIA (Resort World Sentosa)

This is a fairly new establishment set up by Scott Webster, an Australian chef-consultant. Despite being a new player here, it has already picked up a couple of awards the last time I googled, including Singapore's Best Restaurant Guide 2011 by Singapore Tatler and Best New Restaurant by CNNGo’s Best Eats awards

Recalled that we were there on the day many parts of our island was flooded following a non-stop heavy thunderstorm. Inside Osia, it was, however, it was a cozy and enjoyable lunch we had in there.

The server's recommendation of flatbread was great. On sensing that we couldn't quite decide which type to choose, he suggested a mix, giving us the best of both world.

The bread itself is soft and warm. It comes with this little tube of spiced garbanzo which is really tasty. I ended up rationing my bread so that I can have more of it.

For the mains, hubby had this risotto with mushroom and

asparagus. He says it's "risotto that pleases even non-risotto-eaters". I think he usually gets very bored and full after a while when he orders risotto. This version, is however, light enough for him to like.

Set lunches (available even on weekends) go at $38 for 2 course. Besides the main, you pick either a starter or a dessert. We ordered a salad and had chocolate soup for dessert.

The meat-free salad with grapefruit. Refreshing.

The chocolate soup, look at the oozing valrhona chocolate. This has to be hubby's favourite.
